EXPLOITING EVE took to the stage and left no doubt in anyone's mind why they were nominated in so many categories, including Best Video for “Out In The Rain.” This Los Angeles-based alternative rock band was looking good on the stage at Platinum Live. And Janelle Barreto’s lead vocals gave a whole new meaning to 5.1 surround sound (after rising above a little mishap with her microphone, causing slight delay before getting started). Kudos to the band for handling that in such a professional way! I have seen EXPLOITING EVE perform at many prestigious clubs in LA and Orange County. But tonight it was an honor to see them perform and take home the award for BEST ADULT CONTEMPORARY BAND. Congratulations to you all: I can't wait to see you back at Platinum Live again someday soon.
